Patting myself on the back

So I got my HI 366 paper back today. Here's the Prof's feedback:

Okay then, moving on. Let me explain the part about caffeine. A lot of the articles I was researching seemed to have these little ditties as the first footnote:



I was inspired to follow Mr. Merrell's lead. I thought such an addition would make my paper look a lil more professional. So here's what I wrote.



Apparently caffeine, for me, leads to bad grammar. Through High School and College I've been told when writing an essay or paper that you should always "consider your reader" especially in the academic world where your reader is also your "grader." I like to take it a step further and just plain kiss my readers ass.
